What is a Doula?
A Birth Doula is a professional who provides non-medical support during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. They offer emotional, physical, and informational assistance to promote a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience.
Doulas participate as evidence-based members of the care team, which strive to enhance the flow of communication between families and providers.
In my own experience, I have found so much value in having support from my village while raising my own children. With so many of us leading busy, productive lives, many of us may find that the village that we thought would be there, may not be available when it comes time to bring new life into the family. That's where a hiring a Doula can help! There are multiple research studies that indicate how critical it is for birthing persons to have this sort of support during and after pregnancy. Doulas can make such a critical difference, especially for the birth outcomes of BIPOC birthing persons, who happen to be at the greatest risk for maternal and infant mortality in my community. This is why I became inspired to formalize my experience by completing Doula training recognized by DONA international, and mentorship by skilled, resourceful Doulas, so that I may offer high quality services to my clientele.
During my downtime, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, bike riding, gardening, swimming, and playing pickleball with my friends!

During labor and birth, our experienced doulas will be by your side, providing continuous support, advocacy, and comfort measures to ensure a positive and empowering birthing experience.
Postpartum Care
In the postpartum period, we offer comprehensive care to help you recover, bond with your baby, and adjust to the demands of motherhood. Our doulas provide practical assistance, emotional support, and evidence-based information to promote your well-being.
